The Mainmorte ravine

A complete course waiting for this day:

The descent of the dry and very steep-sided Mainmorte canyon is gorgeous : Handrail, small Tyrolean system to cross a basin and numerous abseils where you sink almost underground.

Just before diving into the Verdon, the ascent is by a former unusual passage in the cliff and once used by locals for farming (boxwood, juniper, honey …). We will follow this ingenious and very steep path using via- cordata technique.
